tThe Home Of Authentic Cuban Salsa & Latin Dance!
José, Founder & Director
Salsa Mundo Latino are Bexleyheath's most popular Salsa dance club and we teach authentic Cuban Salsa and Latin dance. Classes are held in Bexleyheath and Belvedere, Kent. Formed as a partnership these classes have become very popular and are fun to join in.
People of all ages and backgrounds attend these classes which are run by José from Cuba.

José is a professional dancer and trained at many dances schools in Cuba eventually graduating from the Havana National school of dance in 1989. He then went on to perform in the Nocturno Caberet and Tropicana night club in Havana. José also formed his own popular dance group who performed all over Cuba as well as choreographing for other night clubs in Cuba.
From there he performed in many hotels on the Guardalavaca coast including the Paradisus Rio De Oro, where he met his wife and eventually came to England.

José now aims to bring all his skills and knowledge to those who wish to learn the Latin way to dance. Many of you may of heard about Salsa Jive, Crossbody and NY style but José teaches pure Cuban Salsa, where Salsa was actually born and bred.
He believes that teaching the steps and moves not only in a group but on a one to one basis will able people to pick up the dance quicker and gain more confidence.
You will not only learn Salsa but many other Latin dances including Merengue, Cha cha cha, Mambo, Reggaeton and the latest craze sweeping the Latin dance scene here in the UK - Bachata.
José strives to make the classes informative and fun by teaching Latin dance as well as Salsa, seperating him from many other salsa clubs.
Salsa Mundo Latino now have many regulars who attend two or more classes a week, with new beginners joining all the time. We have even branched out into local schools and teach children from seven years onwards in after school clubs!
Many questions are probably buzzing around your head regarding learning Salsa and the other Latin Dances.
We are often asked how long it takes to learn, that of course does depend on the individual and how many lessons you want to attend. Many of our members attend two or more classes a week and have found that this helped them to gain the Latin knowledge quickly, but don't worry if you can only attend one class a week, you will still learn!
We are here to help you learn so if you haven't quite mastered something, don't be afraid to ask and we will show you again!
If you don't have a partner this is not an issue as someone will always partner with you and during the the course of the lesson you will swap partners a few times on the Cuban wheel so you will soon  get to know your fellow members!
We advise that you wear cool clothing as it can become very hot and preferably outdoor shoes and not trainers as these can stick to the floor!
Don't buy the expensive Latin dance shoes until you know this is something you want to continue doing!
